Northwood Golf Course

"Why Northwood Golf Course is the best course you've never heard of" (Golf.com, 2/2021)

Along the Russian River and in the heart of one of the world's finest wine producing regions lies the most unique golf course you will ever experience.

Northwood Golf Course combines the magic of the architecture of Dr. Alister MacKenzie (Augusta National, Pasatiempo, Cypress Point) set amidst towering Redwood trees. It's like nothing you have played before, and prompted Travelin' Joe Passov of Golf Magazine to place Northwood on his top-5 MacKenzie courses... in the world!

Come and visit. See the morning mist meander across our fairways. Marvel at how the sun filters through 150-foot tall Redwoods. See the sparkle of the sun on the river. Follow your golf ball as you send it gracefully toward one of MacKenzie's masterpiece greens. Bring yourself, bring your family and enjoy everything Northwood has to offer. It will be a round you will never forget.

The Links at Bodega Harbour
"Northern California's Affordable Coastal Golf Experience"

Experience the beauty and challenge of a true Scottish style links course. Combining spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean, rolling fairways, undulating greens and native coastal rough, this golf course is sure to take your breath away.

Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., the back nine was originally opened in 1978. Then in 1987, the front nine was added to complete the full 18. Extensive renovations were completed in 2008 where over 96 bunkers were re-constructed, all 18 greens were stripped of the Poa Ana grass and bentgrass was added. Overall, the course conditions were greatly improved and The Links at Bodega Harbour is the best it's ever been.

From the rolling fairways of the front nine with its carefully placed pot bunkers and multi-tiered greens, to the dramatic climax of the 3 final holes near the edge of the Pacific Ocean coupled with fabulous ocean views from each of its 18 holes, you will see why it has previously been rated as one of Northern California's top ten courses to play.
